Thanh Hoa awards 200 million VND to the champion of Road to Olympia 2023

On October 9, Thanh Hoa province held a ceremony to honor and award Le Xuan Manh, a 12A1 student at Ham Rong High School, Thanh Hoa city.

With 220 points, Le Xuan Manh has excellently surpassed 3 "climbers" to win the championship at the 23rd Road to Olympia competition.

Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung congratulated Le Xuan Manh on winning the prestigious Laurel Wreath, bringing glory to his homeland, making the tradition of "Thanh - the land of learning and mandarin examinations famous"; at the same time, highly appreciated the efforts of the Education and Training sector, Ham Rong High School, participating teachers, friends, and family who contributed to today's glorious and proud achievements.

Provincial Party Secretary Do Trong Hung emphasized that Le Xuan Manh becoming the 23rd champion of Road to Olympia, the first champion of Thanh Hoa, is not only a joy for him, Ham Rong High School, family, friends, and relatives, but also a pride for the Thanh Hoa Education and Training sector.

To continue promoting the glorious tradition and further enriching the golden record of achievements of "Thanh Hoa Land of Learning," Mr. Do Trong Hung suggested that Party committees, authorities and the provincial Education and Training sector continue to thoroughly grasp the Party and State's policies and viewpoints on fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training; focus on leading and directing the removal of difficulties, shortcomings and "bottlenecks." Thereby, creating a breakthrough in the quality of education in localities and the whole province; promoting propaganda about exemplary models in learning, with the determination to "study hard and one day become famous," to "spread the fire," spread the spirit of studiousness and respect for learning in society, contributing to training many excellent students, discovering and nurturing many talents for the homeland and the country.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that Le Xuan Manh will not be complacent, satisfied with the results achieved, constantly improve his qualities and ethics, strive to excel in studying and scientific research, continue to conquer new heights of knowledge, and contribute to building his homeland and country to be more prosperous and happy.

Responding to the expectations of the provincial leaders, champion Le Xuan Manh promised to continue to try to become a good student in terms of academic performance, good morals, and strive to become a useful citizen for society.

At the commendation ceremony, the Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee awarded a Certificate of Merit and a bonus of 200 million VND to champion Le Xuan Manh; awarded Certificates of Merit to the collective and 6 individuals of Ham Rong High School who had achievements in guiding students to win the Championship of the "Road to Olympia" contest in 2023.
