Nguyen Viet Thanh - First quarter winner

Nguyen Viet Thanh (student of Soc Son High School, Hanoi) not only excelled in Road to Olympia but also had excellent academic achievements and was the winner of many awards.

Viet Thanh is an outstanding student of the Capital in the 2021-2022 school year, Olympia Champion at school level.

The male student was also one of the students honored as "Outstanding Young Face of Soc Son District" for the 13th time in 2022 and "3 Good Students" at the city level in the 2021-2022 school year.

In the Road to Olympia journey, in the weekly competition, Viet Thanh won with 280 points. In the monthly competition, the male student won a total of 310 points, far surpassing the remaining players. In the first quarter competition, Nguyen Viet Thanh won the laurel wreath with 325 points, 210 points more than the player who finished in second place.

Nguyen Minh Triet - First in the 2nd quarter

Nguyen Minh Triet (student of Quoc Hoc High School for the Gifted, Thua Thien - Hue) - the second person to win the final ticket of the year - also won a silver medal in the national youth chess team tournament and a bronze medal in the national online math tournament.

In the Road to Olympia journey, Minh Triet won 330 points in the weekly competition. In the monthly competition, the male student won a total of 305 points. In the second quarter competition, Nguyen Minh Triet maintained the leading position throughout all competitions and won the final with 290 points.

Le Xuan Manh - 1st in 3rd quarter

Le Xuan Manh (student of Ham Rong High School - Thanh Hoa) - the third person to win the final round of the year - won second prize in both chemistry and biology in the school's excellent student competition. The male student is also an advisor for the History Club of Ham Rong High School.

In the Road to Olympia journey, in the weekly competition, Xuan Manh won with 345 points. This is the second highest score in the matches at the 23rd Road to Olympia. In the monthly competition, the male student won 265 points. In the third quarter competition, Le Xuan Manh achieved a total score of 160.

Nguyen Trong Thanh - 1st in 4th quarter

Nguyen Trong Thanh (student of Tran Phu High School for the Gifted, Hai Phong) - the person who won the last ticket to the final match of the year - also has an "awesome" academic record.

Trong Thanh's semester average is 9.5; in which, the average for physics is 9.9; the average for history is 9.9.

On the Road to Olympia journey, in the weekly competition, the Hai Phong male student won 260 points. In the monthly competition, Trong Thanh won with 255 points.

In the fourth quarter competition, Nguyen Trong Thanh won the laurel wreath with a total score of 330. He also had the highest score in the quarter competition among the four contestants in the yearly finals.

Each of the 4 contestants has their own strengths, specialties and competition strategies, but the common point is that they are ready to conquer the goal of winning the laurel wreath.

The final match of the 23rd Road to Olympia was broadcast live on Sunday morning, October 8 on VTV3.

According to the Organizing Committee of the 23rd Road to Olympia, the winner of the final round of the year, in addition to the laurel wreath, will receive a prize worth 50,000 USD. This is the highest prize ever.

At the same time, the prizes for second and third prize winners also doubled compared to last year.

Specifically, the second prize winner will receive a prize of 200 million VND. The third prize winner will receive a prize of 100 million VND.

To date, 17/63 provinces and cities have had champions of Road to Olympia, including: Vinh Long, Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Quang Binh, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Thua Thien Hue, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Giang, Tien Giang, Quang Tri, Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh.

Of which, Quang Ninh is the province with the most Olympia champions with 3 contestants. 3 provinces with 2 Olympia champions are Vinh Long, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Tri. Of the 22 champions, 4 are female.

Thua Thien Hue is facing the opportunity to level the gap with Quang Ninh to become the province with the most number of champions (3 champions) if contestant Nguyen Minh Triet wins.

Hanoi or Hai Phong also has the opportunity to become a locality with 2 Olympia champions (if Nguyen Viet Thanh or Nguyen Trong Thanh wins). Thanh Hoa also has the opportunity to have its name on the list of provinces and cities with champions (if contestant Le Xuan Manh wins).
