Focus on taking care of workers on the occasion of Tet Giap Thin 2024

In 2024, Hai Duong provincial trade unions at all levels will focus on taking care of union members and workers during the Giap Thin Tet holiday with the motto "All union members and workers have Tet".

Effectively carry out dialogue, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements and democratic regulations at the grassroots level. Continue to promote inspection, examination, and supervision of the implementation of labor laws, regimes, and policies for employees at agencies, units, and enterprises. Proactively participate in solutions to create jobs, ensure sustainable employment, and protect the jobs of union members and employees. Timely resolve labor disputes, collective work stoppages, and petitions and recommendations of employees to protect their legitimate and legal rights and interests.

In 2023, 577 grassroots trade unions in the enterprise sector negotiated and signed collective labor agreements with many beneficial policies to protect workers. Of which, 56 grassroots trade unions signed for the first time. On the occasion of Tet Quy Mao 2023, the Provincial Labor Federation and 15 direct superior trade unions organized Tet gift giving to 16,847 union members and workers with a total amount of more than 9 billion VND.

At the conference summarizing the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and trade union activities in 2023 on the morning of December 29, 5 collectives and 3 individuals were awarded certificates of merit by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for their outstanding achievements in the emulation movement of excellent workers and building strong trade union organizations. 7 individuals were awarded certificates of creative labor by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In addition, the Provincial Federation of Labor rewarded many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in implementing the topics in 2023.
