New generation Skoda Kodiaq priced from 1.45 billion VND

After its first introduction at the Vietnam Motor Show 2024 (October 2024), Skoda Vietnam announced the price for the new generation Kodiaq on February 25. Accordingly, the D-size crossover is sold in two versions, including Premium priced at 1.45 billion VND and Sportline priced at 1.48 billion VND.

The new generation Kadiaq carries the Modern Solid design language, so the main focus is on strong, solid, masculine lines. The radiator grille has a light tone with vertical bars typical of the Czech Republic brand. Compared to the design of the previous generation, Kodiaq is now significantly more modern and "trendy".

The car has dimensions of length, width, and height of 4,758 x 1,864 x 1,659 mm, respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,790 mm. It is between C and D in size, but with the black D-pillar glass extending to the rear, the Kodiaq feels significantly longer and smoother than the previous generation.

The LED headlights are layered, separated by LED daytime running lights, similar to the previous generation. Meanwhile, the LED taillights are completely new in design, inspired by the letter C and connected by a thin LED strip. The rear bumper is massive with a pair of sporty exhaust pipes.

New interior style, more youthful than the previous version. Highlighted with a 13-inch entertainment touch screen placed on the dashboard, supporting Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connection. 3-zone automatic air conditioning system. Wireless charging and cooling for two phones.

In the new generation, Skoda Kodiaq uses more premium materials. The front seats are electrically adjustable, have three-position memory, thigh support and air massage, are heated, but not cooled. 13-speaker Canton (Germany) audio system. Panoramic sunroof. On the Sportline version, the seats are designed in a sporty style, covered in Alcantara, an equipment usually only found on luxury cars.

The new generation Kodiaq is equipped with a 2.0 TSI turbocharged gasoline engine, 190 horsepower, maximum torque of 320 Nm. 7-speed wet dual-clutch transmission (7DCT), full-time 4-wheel drive AWD. DCC Plus adaptive chassis system (Dynamic Chasis Control). The car has 7 driving modes: Eco, Normal, Comfort, Sport, Snow, Off-road, Individual. The suspension system can be adjusted to 15 levels of hardness or softness. The driver can actively adjust as desired or will change automatically when switching driving modes.

In terms of passive safety, the Kodiaq has 7 airbags, achieving 5 stars Euro NCAP. With active safety, in addition to basic braking and balancing technologies, the car has tire pressure sensors, cruise control, speed limiter, front and rear parking sensors, low-speed automatic braking, 360 camera, electronic balance brake, steering assist, drowsiness warning, active passenger protection, multi-collision braking.

The new generation Skoda Kodiaq is officially imported from the Czech Republic. In the Vietnamese market, the 2025 Kodiaq competes with rivals Ford Everest (priced at 1.099-1.545 billion VND), Hyundai Santa Fe (priced at 1.069-1.365 billion VND), and Toyota Fortuner (priced at 1.055-1.35 billion VND).

The car is warranted for 5 years or 150,000 km (whichever comes first) for the first customers, the number of customers is not specified.
