On the morning of September 5, on the occasion of the opening of the new school year, Sacombank Hai Duong awarded 75 scholarships to 75 students at several schools in the province.
Each Sacombank “Nurturing Dreams” scholarship worth 1.5 million VND was awarded by Sacombank Hai Duong branch to students at 8 schools: Ngo Gia Tu Secondary School, Hong Quang High School, Nguyen Van Cu High School (all in Hai Duong City); Tran Phu High School (Chi Linh); Hien Thanh Secondary School (Kinh Mon); Kim Thanh High School; Ke Sat High School (Binh Giang) and Thanh Mien High School.
In addition, among the 75 students receiving the above scholarships, 6 students were awarded prizes in the writing contest "Spread Your Wings" held for the first time by Sacombank at the end of August.
Sacombank's scholarship program has been implemented since 2004 at the beginning of each new school year. To date, nationwide, the bank has allocated nearly VND61 billion to award more than 42,200 scholarships to students with good conduct and academic achievements. In the 2023-2024 school year alone, Sacombank has allocated nearly VND11 billion to award nearly 4,000 scholarships.
