Binh Han Ward won first prize in the "Excellent Grassroots Union Cadre" Contest in 2024, Hai Duong City

The contest attracted 20 teams from 20 grassroots trade union clusters under the Hai Duong City Labor Federation to participate. Each team consisted of 5 official contestants, going through 3 rounds, including: greeting, knowledge and handling situations, and union cadre talent.

The exam content is about understanding the Trade Union Law, Social Insurance Law, Labor Code; Law on Labor Safety and Hygiene, Law on Employment; Resolution of the 13th Congress of Vietnam Trade Union, Resolution of the 19th Congress of Hai Duong Provincial Trade Union, Resolution of the 11th Congress of Hai Duong City Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term... Ways to handle situations that occur in trade union activities, in labor, production...

As a result, the Binh Han Ward grassroots union cluster team won first prize; 3 teams from Ngoc Chau Ward, Hai Tan Ward and the People's Party Bloc, Hai Duong City government won second prize...

The organizers also awarded the most impressive greeting contest prize to the People's Party Bloc team, Hai Duong City government; the most impressive talent contest prize to the Ngoc Chau ward team.

The contest aims to raise awareness among grassroots trade union officials about the position, role, functions and tasks of trade union organizations; about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and regulations of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; and draw practical experiences of grassroots trade unions to consolidate and build strong grassroots trade unions.

This year, only the Labor Federation of Hai Duong City, Kinh Mon Town and Kim Thanh District will organize the "Excellent Grassroots Union Cadre" Contest to select teams to participate in the provincial competition. The Labor Federation of Kinh Mon Town is expected to organize the contest on June 19. The remaining grassroots unions will select their own teams to participate in the provincial competition.

According to the plan of the Provincial Labor Federation, the "Excellent Grassroots Union Cadres" Contest in Hai Duong province will take place in mid-July, towards the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2024).
