Hai Duong City Labor Federation exceeds target of establishing grassroots trade unions

In 2023, Hai Duong City Labor Federation established 8 grassroots unions, developing 3,880 new union members, surpassing 4 units and 1,880 union members.

Many collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in Trade Union work and the movement of workers, civil servants and laborers were commended by the Hai Duong City Labor Federation.

The newly established grassroots unions are mainly in the business sector. Currently, the city's trade union has 204 grassroots unions, with more than 19,600 union members.

In recent times, the Hai Duong City Labor Federation has actively reviewed the number of businesses developing in the area, coordinated with communes and wards to encourage business owners to pay attention to and build trade union organizations. Strengthened the propaganda of policies and laws for workers in enterprises and the benefits enjoyed by union members.

In 2024, Hai Duong City Trade Union will focus on developing grassroots trade union members, promoting trade union activities and movements to create trust for workers. Prioritize training and coaching to improve the quality of grassroots trade union chairmen in places with a large number of union members. Strengthen dialogue and negotiation with business owners to ensure legitimate rights and interests of workers.
