Director of the Department of Justice Bui Sy Hoan emphasized the need to innovate propaganda work and pay attention to funding to support commune-level police forces to promote legal aid activities.

However, the number of cases involving legal aid, especially civil cases, is still low compared to the total number of cases resolved at the prosecution agencies. The court sector has 9,148 cases accepted but only 405 people are eligible for legal aid. Some prosecution agencies have a low number of legal aid cases referred to the Legal Aid Center.

At the conference, the representative of Hai Duong Provincial Police proposed to continue to pay attention and focus on implementing solutions to promote the role of the commune-level police force in legal aid activities. Because this is a force close to the people, knowledgeable about the area and subjects. Agreeing with the above solution, the leader of the Department of Justice suggested that it is necessary to pay attention to supporting funding for the commune-level police force to carry out this activity.
