Despite being suspended to add fire prevention and fighting items, Huy Binh KTV karaoke service business still did not comply.
The Provincial People's Committee has decided to fine Ms. Phan Thi Chau (born in 1985, in Thanh Xa commune, Thanh Ha) 55 million VND for violating fire prevention and fighting regulations in karaoke business.
Ms. Chau is the owner of Huy Binh KTV karaoke service business, which did not comply with the decision to suspend operations regarding fire prevention and fighting, administrative violations in the field of security, order and social safety; and continued to operate without being granted a certificate of eligibility for security and order.
Previously, in November 2023, Thanh Ha District Police suspended the operation of Huy Binh KTV karaoke service business due to not meeting fire safety and firefighting requirements. This establishment did not have a certificate or document approving the fire prevention and firefighting design from a competent authority but was still operating. The District Police requested the owner to make corrections but so far they have not been met.
