Female student in Hanoi was beaten by a gang, kneeled down and begged

A clip circulating online shows a female student wearing a middle school uniform being surrounded by a group of boys and girls, constantly cursing, pulling her shirt, pulling her hair, and even kicking her in the head multiple times. Despite the female student kneeling down and begging for mercy."I'm sorry, I won't do it again...", still no one intervened or helped.

The people who beat this female student were mostly women. Some young men just stood from a distance, pointing, filming clips, cheering and applauding.

The clip, lasting more than 2 minutes, has angered the online community about the violent behavior.

Ms. Dao Thi Phuong, Principal of Ta Thanh Oai Secondary School, said she had just learned about the incident and was working with authorities to clarify the matter.

The female student who was beaten up in the clip is a student of the school. The attackers have not yet been identified. The incident took place yesterday afternoon (March 23) at the cultural house of Nhan Hoa village (Thanh Oai, Thanh Tri).

After receiving the information, Ms. Phuong called the parents to inquire about the health of the students. The school also sent teachers to visit the students' homes, encourage them, and support the families in working with the authorities.

"Because the student's health is not stable, he may be in shock after being abused, so we cannot ask clearly about the cause of the incident. We will actively coordinate to clarify the incident," said the Principal of Ta Thanh Oai Secondary School.
