Cakes full of love for union members in Thanh Ha

On the morning of January 27, Thanh Ha District Labor Federation organized a ceremony to wrap Chung cakes to give to union members in difficult circumstances.

The District Labor Federation mobilized more than 50 cadres, teachers, and union members to participate in wrapping 500 Chung cakes. This is the first year that the Thanh Ha District Labor Federation organized Chung cake wrapping for union members to innovate activities, attract union members to participate, and share to strengthen solidarity within the union organization. On this occasion, 229 union members in difficult circumstances in Thanh Ha received gifts, each gift including 500,000 VND in cash and a pair of Chung cakes.

To have delicious banh chung to send to the members, the day before, the members joined hands to prepare dong leaves, pork, rice, beans, and firewood. Despite the rain and cold weather, the mobilized cadres and members arrived very early, each person joining hands to do a task.

Along with the activities of the District Labor Federation, grassroots unions in the area also actively organize programs to care for Tet for union members.
