Former National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan attended a meeting with the Hai Duong Association in Hanoi.

Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the People's Council, People's Committee, National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, Fatherland Front Committee of Hai Duong province and Heads of some departments, branches and sectors of Hai Duong also attended.

This is the first time the Standing Committee of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee has organized a meeting with the Hai Duong Association of Fellow Countrymen in Hanoi City in Hai Duong.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee expressed his joy and emotion at meeting the children of Hai Duong who are living in Hanoi right on the beloved land of Hai Duong.

Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang affirmed that Hai Duong people in Hanoi have contributed significantly to the development of the capital and have continuously contributed to their homeland Hai Duong in many fields. The success and reputation of Hai Duong people in Hanoi as well as many other places are always a source of pride, spiritual support, and valuable resources for their homeland, for generations of Hai Duong children, especially the young generation.

Informing delegates about the province's outstanding results in socio-economic development in 2023, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang emphasized the unanimity, support and continuous assistance of Hai Duong people living and working far from home.

In 2024, Hai Duong will make every effort to complete comprehensive goals with 3 key tasks. In particular, Hai Duong provincial leaders are determined to complete the province's main traffic axis, connecting to important routes. Focus on policies for social security, paying attention to education and health. At the same time, promote the unique cultural traditions and historical relics of Hai Duong with over 4,000 relics in the province.

To achieve those goals, Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang affirmed that it requires the consensus and efforts of the entire political system, all classes of people in the province, and the attention, support and assistance of Hai Duong people far from their homeland.

Speaking after listening to the opinion of the Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee, Comrade Pham The Duyet, former Standing Member of the Politburo, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, also expressed his excitement when attending the warm and emotional meeting and acknowledged the results Hai Duong has achieved in the past year. He hopes that Hai Duong will continue to strive to develop and achieve more achievements in the coming time.

On behalf of Hai Duong people in Hanoi, comrade Le Truyen, former Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Chairman of the Hai Duong Association in Hanoi expressed his joy and excitement at attending the meeting imbued with homeland love in the first days of spring right in Hai Duong city.

During the recent Tet holiday, Hai Duong people far from home felt very happy and proud to witness the progress and changes in all aspects of their homeland. In particular, the changes in the material and spiritual life of the people are increasingly evident.

In the warm atmosphere of early spring, the delegates reviewed the history of the establishment of the Hai Duong Association in Hanoi, the journey of activities and the contributions of the association to the development of the province.
