A woman came to claim a baby girl who was left at a hotel in Hai Duong City after 4 days as her child.

The leader of Tu Minh Ward People's Committee (Hai Duong City) said that on November 23, a woman claiming to be the mother of the baby abandoned at Hoa Quynh 2 Hotel in the ward came to claim the baby.

However, this woman did not have any documents to prove herself or that the child was hers, so the ward has not yet handed over the child and requested documents to prove it. This woman said she would return to her hometown in Lao Cai to get the documents but has not returned yet.

Late on the night of November 19, a woman brought a 4-year-old girl to Hoa Quynh 2 Hotel, saying that she and her child were staying there. Early in the morning of November 20, the woman left, leaving the child sleeping in the room, without leaving a message.

Through verification, Tu Minh Ward Police determined that the child's name is THN (born in 2019), whose mother is TTA (born in 1992), residing in Van Hoa Commune, Lao Cai City (Lao Cai Province). The child's maternal grandparents are from Xuan Lai Commune, Gia Binh District (Bac Ninh Province). The child's maternal grandfather has passed away and the maternal grandmother is not present in the locality.

On November 21, Tu Minh Ward People's Committee made a record and temporarily handed over the child to the abbot of Thi Xa Pagoda, Hong Hung Commune (Gia Loc) for care until the child's relatives are found or the case is resolved according to the law.
