Easy access to information

For many months now, when Cam Thuong Ward (Hai Duong City) has completed the digitization of its staff and civil servant records, comrade Dinh Van Tuyen, Chairman of the Ward People's Committee, has regularly accessed the staff and civil servant management software to grasp information for work. "When I go into the software, the first thing I care about is the new information that newly updated staff and civil servants have about their diplomas, certificates, time, and work history...", comrade Dinh Van Tuyen shared.

As in Cam Thuong ward, implementing the Government's Project 06, recently, agencies, units and schools in Hai Duong province have actively digitized the records of cadres, civil servants and public employees. All information about the records of cadres, civil servants and public employees are digitized and pushed to electronic software. This work contributes to the publicity and transparency of information about each cadre, civil servant and public employee, especially information about the learning, training, fostering process, working process, salary scale, planning time, appointment...

According to the data compiled by the Working Group implementing Project 06 in Hai Duong province, as of June 14, 2023, agencies and units in the province have completed the synchronization of 42,470 records (reaching 100% of the records of cadres, civil servants and public employees in the government sector) to the National Database on cadres, civil servants and public employees managed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. This work ensures progress according to the requirements of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

According to the Department of Education and Training of Hai Duong, before implementing the tasks of Project 06, since 2018, the sector has built a database system on the network of schools, students, staff and teachers. Every year, the sector's database is regularly enriched, updated and refined. To share and connect the education sector database with the National Population Database, the department directs educational institutions to focus resources on collecting and completing personal identification information of managers, teachers and staff on the sector's database, ensuring 100% of the information is "correct, sufficient, clean and alive".

Save

Completing the digitization of personnel, civil servant and public employee records has brought many benefits in improving the quality and efficiency of management and operation of each agency and unit.

Comrade Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, Deputy Head of the Department of Internal Affairs of Tu Ky district shared: "The obvious effect is saving costs, not having to invest in infrastructure and purchase equipment to manage and store records. The work of exploiting and updating data is fast, synchronous, and much more effective than before."

According to some leaders of agencies and units, when the records of cadres, civil servants and public employees are digitized and uploaded to the software, it is very convenient for monitoring, summarizing and reporting. The head of the agency will know the background and work history of each cadre, civil servant and public employee in the software. When you need to know how many people are due for a salary increase in the year, when they have been planned and appointed, who will retire... you can enter the software and have it right away. This work can be done anytime, anywhere. Using a smartphone also meets the requirements.

Teacher Tran Van Ta, Principal of Cam Giang High School said: "Digitizing records makes management easy, convenient, saves time, and can update the working status and work that officers and civil servants are in charge of at each stage."

Digitized records also bring many benefits to each cadre, civil servant, and public employee. Ms. Cao Thi Mai Phuong, a civil servant in Tan Binh Ward (Hai Duong) informed: "Every time there is a change related to ourselves, we go into the software and update it ourselves. When we need information related to civil servant records, we just need to go into the software to extract it and print or transfer it, without having to write it by hand like before. Personal information is systematic, accurate, very convenient".
