According to the People's Committee of Thanh Khe Commune, on the morning of July 24, Ms. Dang Thi Luan (born in 1971) in An Lao Village, Thanh Khe Commune reported to the People's Committee and the Commune Police that her family had 100 banana trees chopped down by thieves. This area of ​​bananas was for sale during Tet. Observation showed that the thieves took advantage of the rainy weather to use a knife to chop down the banana trees, making them unusable for harvesting.

Last year, Mrs. Luan's family also had their banana trees chopped down by thieves.

Noticing signs of property damage, Thanh Khe Commune Police reported to Thanh Ha District Police to investigate and verify the incident. On the same morning, Thanh Ha District Police and the District People's Procuracy coordinated to go to the scene to collect evidence, documents, and consolidate the case file. The case is being investigated by Thanh Ha District Police.

Every year, farmers in Thanh Khe commune sell Tet bananas for an average of 600,000 VND/bunch.
