Resolutely not to allow corruption and negativity in civil judgment enforcement

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung highly appreciated the results achieved by the enforcement sector in the province in recent times. In 2023, the amount of money and enforcement of judgments in Hai Duong province exceeded the targets assigned by the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung suggested that in 2024, the civil judgment enforcement sector continue to thoroughly grasp and organize the strict, complete and timely implementation of the Party's Resolutions and the State's legal documents related to judgment enforcement. The sector needs to more effectively implement Resolution 96/2019/QH14 dated November 27, 2019 of the National Assembly on crime prevention and law violations, the work of the People's Procuracy, the People's Court and the judgment enforcement work. In particular, it is necessary to study and thoroughly grasp Regulation No. 132-QD/TW dated October 27, 2023 of the Politburo on controlling power, preventing corruption and negativity in investigation, prosecution, trial and judgment enforcement activities. The sector needs to be proactive and active in carrying out its tasks right from the beginning of the year, ensuring that all enforcement agencies in the province complete and exceed the targets and tasks assigned by the General Department for 2024. Continue to do a good job of advising the higher vertical sectors and local Party committees and authorities in civil enforcement. Strengthen coordination in enforcement. Do a good job of political and ideological education for civil servants and workers, practice thrift, fight waste, and resolutely prevent corruption and negativity in civil enforcement.

In 2023, the whole industry has a total of 11,327 cases to be executed, of which 9,546 cases are eligible for execution. The two-level enforcement agencies have completed 8,058 cases, an increase of 164 cases compared to the same period in 2022. The settlement rate reached 84.41%, an increase of 7.27%, exceeding 1.81% of the target assigned by the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement for the whole year. The total amount to be enforced is more than VND 5,234 billion, of which more than VND 2,747 billion is subject to enforcement conditions, an increase of more than VND 1,298 billion over the same period in 2022. Agencies have completed enforcement of more than VND 1,551 billion, the settlement rate reached 56.47%, an increase of 37.16% over the same period in 2022, exceeding 10.87% compared to the target assigned by the General Department of Civil Judgment Enforcement.

On this occasion, the Ministry of Justice awarded certificates of merit to 3 groups and 2 individuals; and the "For the cause of justice" Medal to 2 individuals. The Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to the Civil Judgment Enforcement Office of Nam Sach district; and awarded certificates of merit to 4 groups and 8 individuals.
