Checking the actual preparation for organizing the high school graduation exam

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued the Inspection Plan of the Ministry's leadership delegations and the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam.

According to the plan, there will be 4 inspection teams to promptly grasp the situation and make specific recommendations on the organization of the 2024 high school graduation exam in the locality; direct and guide localities to organize the exam safely, seriously, objectively, in accordance with the Examination Regulations and related documents; create the most favorable conditions for candidates; prevent, detect, and promptly direct the handling of violations (if any).

In addition, recommend local measures to overcome limitations and shortcomings (if any) of the exam; recommend competent authorities to perfect regulations related to the exam in the following years.

The delegations will inspect the actual preparation work for organizing the exam at a number of exam locations; the exam printing area, the exam marking area...; and inspect the preparation and organization of the 2024 high school graduation exam by the Provincial Steering Committee.

Regarding locations, delegation 1 inspected provinces and cities in the Red River Delta and the North Central region, including Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Bac Ninh, Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thai Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien-Hue.

Group 2 inspected Ho Chi Minh City and the provinces and cities of the Southwest region, including Can Tho, An Giang, Tien Giang, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Long An, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and Ben Tre.

Group 3 inspected the provinces and cities of the South Central, Central Highlands and Southeast regions, including: Da Nang, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Lam Dong, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai and Tay Ninh.

Delegation 4 inspected the provinces in the northern midland and mountainous region, including Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Bac Kan, Lang Son, Tuyen Quang, Yen Bai, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Bac Giang, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Son La, Hoa Binh and Quang Ninh.

To check the exam preparation, the delegations proactively choose and arrange inspection time in 2 to 3 localities as assigned. The specific time and location will be decided by the delegation leader during the period from June 8-17.

Regarding the invigilation and grading work, only the delegation of the Deputy Minister - Head of the National Steering Committee for the 2024 High School Graduation Exam will be assigned to inspect the invigilation and grading work in localities across the country. The specific locality will be decided by the head of the delegation.

The Provincial Steering Committee prepares a report on the preparation and organization of the 2024 high school graduation exam in the locality. At the same time, arrange the composition and location of the inspection according to the requirements of the inspection team; promptly direct and complete the preparation for the 2024 high school graduation exam to ensure safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations.
