No one should go without Tet, no one should be left behind.

On the morning of January 10, Comrade Pham Minh Chinh, Politburo member and Prime Minister, visited and presented gifts to workers and laborers at Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. (Dai An Industrial Park).

Also attending the event were Party Central Committee members: Bui Van Cuong, General Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Office; Nguyen Dinh Khang, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Tran Duc Thang, Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee.

Also attending were leaders of central ministries, departments, and branches, the Government Office; the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the People's Council and People's Committee of Hai Duong province, comrades in the Prime Minister's working delegation; and 200 workers and laborers, representing workers and laborers in the whole province.

Speaking at the event, the Prime Minister expressed his joy when visiting and presenting gifts to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances in the first days of the new year 2024, on the occasion of the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Duong holding a conference to announce the provincial planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

The Prime Minister sent his warm greetings, kind regards and best wishes to all officers, workers and employees at Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. in particular, and all workers and employees of Hai Duong province in general.

The highest goal of national development is to improve the material and spiritual life of the people. Vietnam always identifies people as the center, the subject, the goal and the driving force of development, including workers and laborers. The strength, prosperity and achievement of the set goals by the middle of the 21st century of the country have important contributions from workers and laborers. Taking care of the development of workers and improving the lives of workers is the task of relevant levels, sectors, localities and subjects, in which the role of enterprises is very important.

In 2023, in the context of the world economy with many fluctuations and instabilities, negatively affecting the production and business of enterprises, the labor and employment sectors. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh deeply sympathizes with workers and laborers about the difficulties and hardships in the past time. The Prime Minister affirmed that the Party, State and Government of Vietnam always pay attention and care, have issued many policies to develop labor and employment, support workers to stabilize and improve their lives, and at the same time emphasize the message "No one is left without Tet, no one is left behind".

Regarding Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd., one of the high-tech enterprises, especially investing in the Research and Development Center right in Hai Duong province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the production and business results and contributions to Hai Duong province in terms of socio-economic development, as well as good implementation of labor policies and social security work in more than 14 years of operation in Vietnam.

In the coming time, the cause of building and defending the Fatherland requires the joint efforts and contributions of the whole country, including the workforce. To effectively implement policies for workers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested central and local ministries, branches and localities to continue researching and proposing policy adjustments and reforming administrative procedures to create conditions for businesses, including foreign-invested enterprises, to develop sustainably. Trade union organizations should strengthen coordination with relevant agencies with a high sense of responsibility for union members and workers to successfully fulfill their duties as representatives of workers.

The Government continues to improve institutions, mechanisms and policies; handle issues arising in the process of organizing the implementation of related policies and laws so that workers and laborers can fully promote their responsibilities, passion, aspirations and abilities, complete their work well and contribute to the country and society.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh directed the leaders of Hai Duong province to pay attention to developing human resources, especially high-quality human resources to meet the needs of enterprises; at the same time, research, propose and promulgate policies to support workers, especially workers in difficult circumstances, ensuring social security. Hai Duong needs to reserve land for planning, organize implementation in a systematic manner, have innovative thinking in building and developing housing, especially housing for workers. In addition, it is necessary to develop infrastructure for education, health care, sports, entertainment as well as other institutions.

The Prime Minister requested Hyundai Kefico Vietnam Co., Ltd. to play an active role as a model of Korean investors in Vietnam, and together with the business community in general, continue to better implement policies on human resource training, labor, employment, and wages; and care for and support workers in difficult circumstances.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent his New Year wishes of success to the Party Committee, government, people and businesses of Hai Duong province.
