Prosecution of the subject transporting 16 heroin cakes to Dong Nai

On October 15, Dong Nai Provincial Police announced that they had just issued a decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused and temporarily detain Nguyen Duy Phuong (born in 1998, residing in Song Trau commune, Trang Bom district, Dong Nai) to investigate and clarify the act of illegally transporting drugs.

Accordingly, through the management of the area, the police force discovered that Phuong was involved in the illegal transportation of drugs between provinces on a large scale and colluded with a number of subjects in the Central provinces to rent cars to transport large quantities of drugs to Dong Nai province.

Upon receiving the news, Major General Nguyen Sy Quang, Director of the Provincial Police Department, directed the establishment of 4 working groups, mobilizing 60 police officers to coordinate in the fight to destroy the group.

On the evening of September 11, police intercepted and caught Phuong red-handed hiring a car to transport 16 heroin cakes weighing more than 5.6 kg at Km 94+400 of Phan Thiet - Dau Giay highway (Song Nhan commune, Cam My district).

The case is being further investigated by the Dong Nai Provincial Police Department and the subject will be handled according to the law.
