Urgently complete the report file to the Politburo on salary reform

The Government has just issued a Resolution of the regular Government meeting in April 2024, which includes content related to salary reform.

Accordingly, the Government assigned the Ministry of Home Affairs to preside over and closely coordinate with ministries and agencies to urgently complete the dossier to report to the Politburo on salary reform in May 2024 to serve as a basis for developing legal documents to implement the new salary regime according to Resolution No. 27-NQ/TW from July 1, 2024 in accordance with the direction of the Government and Government leaders.

Proactively advise competent authorities to resolve some difficulties and problems when arranging administrative units at district and commune levels.

Urge and guide localities to urgently implement the process of arranging administrative units at district and commune levels, ensuring completion before September 30, 2024.

At the same time, properly resolve arising issues, promote information and propaganda to create consensus among the people in the administrative unit arrangement.

Strengthen the responsibility of coordinating, monitoring and urging the implementation of job positions of ministries, agencies and localities.

In addition, the Ministry of Home Affairs closely coordinates with ministries, agencies and localities to review and arrange public service units to streamline their organization and staff in accordance with the spirit of the Resolutions of the 6th Central Conference of the 12th tenure, the Resolutions of the National Assembly, the direction of the Government, the Prime Minister and the Steering Committee for Innovation, and to arrange the organizational apparatus of ministries, ministerial-level agencies and agencies under the Government.

Urge ministries and agencies to promptly draft a Prime Minister's Decision promulgating a list of public service units under the Ministry, stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the general departments; appraise so that ministries and agencies can complete the draft and submit it to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.

Preside over and coordinate with the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and relevant agencies to develop a Plan to implement the Emulation Movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide, and report to the Prime Minister before May 15, 2024.
