According to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board, on National Day, September 2, the unit warmly welcomed and served 30,575 people visiting the Mausoleum, including 231 foreign visitors.
From early morning, long lines of locals and international tourists lined up to visit Uncle Ho at the Mausoleum. Present at Ba Dinh Square from 5am on September 2, Ms. Lan Anh (Tuyen Quang) said that her family had gone to Hanoi since the evening of September 1 so that the whole family could attend the flag-raising ceremony and line up to visit Uncle Ho at the Mausoleum. The children were very excited, being able to visit Uncle Ho at the Mausoleum would give them more motivation to study hard.
Although the number of visitors is larger than usual, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board has directed close coordination among the forces in the Mausoleum Management Board, Hanoi City Police and local agencies, units and authorities to create favorable conditions for people and international visitors to visit the Mausoleum conveniently and safely.
On September 2, the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Management Board coordinated with the Hanoi Department of Tourism to provide free drinking water, milk, and cakes to people and international visitors visiting the Mausoleum.
