Support to build "Red Cross" houses for poor households in Thanh Ha

Thanh Ha district leaders presented gifts to Trinh Thi Thanh's family.

On the morning of December 17, the Provincial Red Cross Society supported the following households: Trinh Thi Thanh (in Van Tue village, Tan Viet commune); Nguyen Van Mang (in An Liet 3 village, Thanh Hai commune, Thanh Ha district) each with 50 million VND to build houses.

Ms. Thanh's husband died in an accident, leaving her with three young children. She herself is in poor health and often sick. Mr. Mang and his wife are poor, old and helpless.

In addition to the support fund from the Provincial Red Cross Society, the Thanh Ha District Red Cross Society supported each family with 2 million VND. The People's Committees of communes and mass organizations gave gifts and encouraged families to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.

On this occasion, the Provincial Red Cross also presented a savings book worth 50 million VND to the three sisters of Nguyen Hai Hau (in Zone 2, Thanh Ha town). Hau's parents passed away early, leaving the three sisters living in a dilapidated house that has been supported by organizations and benefactors to build a new house.

Koner Vietnam Joint Stock Company supported the entire house painting cost for 4 families: Hau, Thanh, Mang and Bui Thi Hoa's family (Thanh Son commune), with a total amount of nearly 70 million VND.
