Vietnam Academy of Agriculture recruits nearly 7,300 students for the 2025 school year

On February 3, the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture announced that it will enroll nearly 7,300 students for the 2025 school year, most of whom will be for the standard program, with only 100 spots for the English-taught program.

In addition to recruiting according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training as last year, the school also directly recruits excellent students (at least one semester in high school) with one of the following achievements: winning a provincial prize or higher or being in the national competition team, having IELTS 6.0, SAT 1,200/1600 or ACT 25/36 or higher.

Candidates who have achieved excellent student results in two semesters and scored 90 points or higher in the VNUA 2025 Technology Knowledge and Creative Startup Exam will also be considered for direct admission. If the number of registrations exceeds the quota, the school will consider in the following order: excellent student award; IELTS score, then SAT, ACT; separate exam score.

The school accepts applications from early May to June 20.

The second method is to use the 2025 high school graduation exam scores. The admission score is the total score of three subjects according to the combination, in which subject 1 (written first) is multiplied by a coefficient of two. The school notes that the total score of the three subjects is converted from a scale of 40 to 30, then the priority points are added.

Candidates with IELTS 4.0 or higher can convert to replace English subject score.

With the review of transcripts, the admission score is the total average score of the entire 12th grade year of three subjects according to the combination, also multiplied by a coefficient and converted like the graduation exam score method. However, the school only considers candidates who score 21 - 24 points or more, after converting to a 30-point scale.

Finally Combined admission. Candidates can use their 12th grade transcripts with one of the following certificates: IELTS from 5.0, SAT 800, ACT 12, VNUA 2025 Technology Knowledge and Creative Startup from 70 points or higher.

The admission score is the sum of three subjects according to the transcript, in which subject 1 is multiplied by a coefficient of two, along with the certificate score or separate exam results converted to a scale of 10. The condition for the transcript score is to achieve 21 - 24 points or more, on a scale of 30.

With combined transcript and admission consideration, the school accepts applications in two batches, the first batch from May to June 20, the second batch from June 25 to July 30.

Last year, logistics and supply chain management led the benchmark of Vietnam National University of Agriculture with 25 points.

The remaining industries mainly take 17 - 19 points, the lowest is land management, real estate and environment with 16.5 points.
