Hai Duong Provincial Red Cross Society arranges shock troops to donate blood to save lives on the occasion of Tet At Ty

In order to ensure blood supply for emergency needs during the Lunar New Year, the Hai Duong Red Cross Society has deployed shock troops, ready to donate blood to save lives when necessary.

The blood donation shock force was mobilized from 5 blood donation clubs in the province with more than 520 members. Specifically, there are 2 clubs: Hai Duong Youth Blood Donation Mobilization Club, Hai Duong Rare Blood Group Club and 3 reserve blood donation clubs of Hai Duong province, Thanh Mien district, Binh Giang district.

Members of the shock force are ready to donate blood in case of emergency. They also have the role of connecting and sharing information to find and mobilize people with suitable blood types to be ready to support patient treatment.

Information about cases requiring blood donation for treatment is posted and shared by clubs on social networks.

According to the provincial Red Cross, only Tu Ky district plans to organize voluntary blood donation after Tet At Ty. Therefore, to ensure a timely blood supply to treat patients, the provincial Red Cross plans to organize a fixed blood donation point at the association's headquarters starting from February 16.
