During Humanitarian Month (May) this year, the Gia Loc District Red Cross Society (Hai Duong) organized many humanitarian and charitable activities.
From May 13 to 17, the Gia Loc District Red Cross Association coordinated to examine, consult, and provide free medicine to 75 disadvantaged people in Le Loi Commune, Gia Loc Town, with a total value of 30 million VND.
Previously, the association coordinated to present a gift worth 5 million VND to Ms. Pham Thi Hap, in difficult circumstances in Truc Lam village (Hoang Dieu commune); presented 20 gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Le Loi, Toan Thang, Yet Kieu communes, Gia Loc town, each worth 400,000 VND; presented 10 gifts, 500,000 VND/gift to people in difficult circumstances in Quang Minh and Nhat Tan communes.
The Association also coordinated to mobilize 50 million VND to support the construction of a "Red Cross" house for a difficult case in Yet Kieu commune.
