Hai Duong organizes a high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display on New Year's Eve

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has agreed to allow the People's Committee of Hai Duong province to organize a high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks display on New Year's Eve to welcome the Year of the Dragon 2024 in the center of Hai Duong city. The organization of fireworks must comply with regulations, ensure security and order, and be absolutely safe; and not use the state budget.

Previously, the Provincial People's Committee had requested the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to allow the firing of high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks on New Year's Eve. The firing time is 15 minutes. The number of high-altitude fireworks is 800, 180 low-altitude fireworks. The Hai Duong City People's Committee presides over and coordinates with the provincial departments, branches, sectors, unions and relevant agencies and units to implement.

The fireworks display contributes to creating a joyful, exciting atmosphere, and people's trust in the country's innovation and the Party's leadership. It contributes to promoting the image of Hai Duong to other provinces and international friends, contributing to promoting tourism activities in the area, encouraging cadres and people to actively work, produce, and be creative to welcome the new spring.
