Organizing fireworks displays to celebrate the New Year 2024 and the Year of the Dragon in accordance with actual conditions

According to the directive, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee to lead the Provincial People's Committee to direct the implementation of festival management and organization in accordance with regulations, in a practical, safe, economical manner, in accordance with civilized lifestyle, cultural traditions of the nation and good customs and practices of each locality; direct the organization of fireworks to welcome the New Year 2024 and the Year of the Dragon in accordance with actual conditions, ensuring safety, economy, and not using the budget.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requests Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations to thoroughly grasp and seriously and effectively implement Directive No. 26-CT/TW dated November 23, 2023 of the Central Party Secretariat, directive documents of the Government, the Prime Minister and the province on organizing the Giap Thin New Year in 2024. Focus on leading and directing the promotion of production, business activities, socio-economic development, national defense - security, Party and government building, striving to achieve the highest level of goals, tasks, programs and plans set out in 2024, creating important momentum for the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Resolution of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020 - 2025 term.

Focus on directing the good implementation of social security and welfare policies, ensuring that each person and each family can enjoy Tet and welcome Spring. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to caring for policy families, people in especially difficult circumstances, poor households; workers and laborers working in industrial parks and clusters, especially those who have lost their jobs, had their jobs extended or reduced. Carefully organize activities to visit and give Tet gifts to families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the country, veteran revolutionaries, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, outstanding religious dignitaries, armed forces units, and forces on duty during Tet.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requests that Party committees, Party organizations, authorities, cadres, Party members, civil servants and public employees not visit or wish their superiors and leaders at all levels a Happy New Year; strictly prohibit giving or presenting Tet gifts to leaders at all levels in any form; only attend pagodas and festivals when assigned; not participate in superstitious activities; not use public budgets, means and assets against regulations. Cadres and Party members, especially heads of Party committees and organizations, must truly set an example in celebrating Spring and Tet in a healthy, safe and economical manner.

Organize inspections and close supervision, do a good job of ensuring food safety, environmental sanitation, and disease prevention. Strengthen market forecasting and management, stabilize prices, ensure balance between supply and demand of goods, services, gasoline, oil, and essential goods. Proactively plan and ensure adequate means of transporting goods, serving people's travel needs during Tet conveniently and safely.

The Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee leads the Provincial People's Committee to direct the synchronous and effective implementation of the goals and tasks for 2024. Focus on implementing winter-spring crop production within the best time frame; proactively prevent and control diseases for livestock and poultry; widely launch a movement for the entire population to participate in responding to the Tet tree planting festival. Urgently develop plans and organize the effective implementation of the Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050. Promote investment attraction; actively disburse public investment capital from the beginning of the year.

Party committees, authorities at all levels, police and military forces proactively deploy measures to protect political security, social order and safety, cyberspace safety, and avoid being passive or surprised. Organize and implement well plans to absolutely protect the safety of key targets, projects, political, foreign affairs, cultural and social events of the province and the country...

The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department directed to step up propaganda to raise people's sense of responsibility and self-awareness in implementing regulations on traffic safety, use of fireworks and explosives; disease prevention; proactively fight and refute false and distorted information and viewpoints of reactionary and hostile forces against the Party and State.

Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, agencies, units, and localities must complete the summary of work in 2023 before January 10, 2024.
