1 positive case of Rubella was identified from test samples of suspected measles cases in Hiep Luc commune, Ninh Giang district (Hai Duong).
On the afternoon of April 11, a representative of the Hai Duong Province Center for Disease Control said that the Central Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (Ministry of Health) had responded to the results of 5 measles/rubella test samples sent by Hai Duong. All samples tested negative for measles, however, 1 sample was confirmed positive for rubella. This is the 4th case of rubella recorded in the province since the beginning of the year.
The above 5 test samples were taken from suspected measles cases in Hiep Luc commune (Ninh Giang) hospitalized from April 2-5 with symptoms of fever and red rash on the skin.
