In order to promote digital transformation in Hai Duong, on June 26, Comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, launched a campaign for all people to register, activate and use electronic identification accounts.
In the launching speech of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, it was stated that the Project on developing the application of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve the national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030 (Project 06) plays a very important role, deciding the success of the National Digital Transformation program. One of the key contents of Project 06 is the level 2 electronic identification account with the same value as the chip-embedded citizen identification card and other types of papers and documents such as: driver's license, vehicle registration, health insurance...
Recently, with the support of the people, Hai Duong province has basically completed 100% of the issuance of electronic chip-embedded citizen identification cards for eligible citizens in the province... However, the whole province still has more than 432,640 citizens who do not have an electronic identification account and more than 185,700 accounts have not been activated.
On behalf of the leaders of Hai Duong province, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung called on all people in the province to actively register, activate and use electronic identification accounts, striving to complete before July 15, with the tradition of solidarity and aspiration of Hai Duong people, in order to promote digital transformation.
