"Zero-dong stall" on Tet holiday at Military Hospital 7

On the morning of January 19, many patients being treated at Military Hospital 7 (Hai Duong) were excited to receive Tet gifts from the "Zero Dong Booth".

About 200 patients of Military Hospital 7 received Tet gifts from the "Zero-VND Booth". Most of the patients came directly to receive gifts at the booth in the hospital lobby.

This is the first year that Military Hospital 7 has organized a booth to serve patients on the occasion of Tet Quy Mao 2023.

Give away 200 gifts

With an expected number of 200 gifts, all patients being treated at Military Hospital 7 will receive Tet gifts. Most patients come to receive gifts at the booth in the lobby, many seriously ill patients receive gifts at their bedsides from hospital staff, doctors and nurses. The Tet atmosphere at the hospital is usually cold and gloomy, but thanks to this activity, it becomes warmer.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Am (born in 1938) excitedly went with her daughter to the "Zero Dong Booth" to receive gifts.

Mr. Vu Hoanh Son (born in 1956) was excited to receive a visit from the hospital and gifts at his bedside. Mr. Son is a war invalid and was admitted to the emergency room at 5 a.m. on December 25 due to obstructive bronchitis. "Although I have only been in the hospital for 3 days, the hospital's attention and gifts have made my family and I feel somewhat comforted when we cannot gather with our children and grandchildren during the days leading up to Tet," Mr. Son said. Thanks to timely emergency care and dedicated care from doctors and nurses, Mr. Son's health has stabilized and he was able to return to his hometown Kim Thanh to celebrate Tet on the afternoon of the 28th of Tet with a gift from the hospital.

Each Tet gift is simple and practical with 5 main foods: cakes, candies, sugar, milk and jelly, worth 150,000 VND from the hospital fees of Military Hospital 7. With the desire to "leave no one behind", Military Hospital 7 not only takes care of soldiers and their families but also wholeheartedly serves the people.

Many seriously ill patients were visited and given gifts at their bedsides by officers, doctors and nurses of Military Hospital 7.

Entering Military Hospital 7 with health insurance, Ms. Nguyen Thi Am (born in 1938) happily went with her daughter to the "Zero-dong booth" on the morning of the 28th of Tet to receive gifts. "I have just been hospitalized and treated in the Department of Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases and Pulmonary Diseases for 3 days. Although my health is still weak, it is difficult to move around and the weather is cold, I still asked my daughter to help me come here to celebrate with other patients and thank the staff, nurses and doctors for the gifts and their attentive care over the past few days," Ms. Am shared.

The booth was carefully prepared by the hospital's staff, union members, women's union, and youth union.

4 days free meals for patients

The "zero-dong booth" was created thanks to the attention of the Party Committee and the Command of Military Hospital 7 to share the disadvantages of patients, contributing to taking care of the material and spiritual lives of patients during Tet. The staff, union members, women's union, and youth union of the hospital directly prepared. The booth organization process was also complete, thoughtful, and responsible, and the items served were of guaranteed quality, close to the essential needs of patients.

The "Zero-VND booth" started distributing gifts from 9am. Female officers, nurses and doctors prepared from early morning, setting up a beautiful booth to serve patients.

This year, Military Hospital 7 will serve patients 4 days of free meals from the 30th to the 3rd of Tet with a standard of 80,000 VND/person/day, with full nutrition. Military Hospital 7 has arranged nearly 200 officers, nurses and doctors to work during Tet and are ready to fight and serve the people.
