Hai Duong's export value of goods increased by 8.6%

The value of exported goods increased in each month compared to the same period in 2023 (February was lower due to the impact of the Lunar New Year holiday). The main commodity groups, accounting for a large proportion and increasing sharply, are: Textile and garment group estimated at 1 billion 995 million USD, up 14.8%. Electronic components and office machines group estimated at 1 billion 430 million USD, up 17.6%. Automobiles and auto parts group estimated at 1 billion 225 million USD, up 10%.

The reason is that Hai Duong's major export markets such as the US, South Korea, and Japan have shown signs of recovery. Recently, the Department of Industry and Trade has stepped up propaganda and dissemination to businesses about the rules and ways to take advantage of opportunities from free trade agreements, especially new-generation free trade agreements, to promote exports.

Import activities increased quite well due to the demand for imported raw materials for export activities. In the first 9 months, the total import value of goods of the whole province was estimated at 6 billion 084 million USD, reaching 64% of the yearly plan and increasing by 7.8% over the same period last year. Some groups of imported goods increased sharply, including: the group of automobiles and auto parts estimated at 1 billion 394 million USD, up 13.5%; the group of electronic accessories and components estimated at 1 billion 171 million USD, up 19.1%; the group of fabrics and garment materials estimated at 1 billion 068 million USD, up 17.9%.
