On the afternoon of January 18, Hanoi University of Science and Technology coordinated to organize the first thinking assessment test in 2025 at Sao Do University in Chi Linh City (Hai Duong).
The first round took place on January 18 and 19, with one group per day. Each group had more than 230 candidates. The candidates were mainly students from Hai Duong, the rest were from some neighboring provinces and cities.
With a score of 100, candidates take the test with 3 contents, including: mathematical thinking (60 minutes), reading comprehension (30 minutes) and scientific thinking/problem solving (60 minutes). Candidates take the test in the form of multiple choice on the computer. The test content focuses on assessing the candidate's thinking ability, not testing knowledge of any subject.
After the first round, there will be two more rounds of exams on March 8-9 and April 26-27. Exam fee is 500,000 VND/person/test, an increase of 50,000 VND compared to last year.
Candidates will be granted a certificate of exam results. The exam results are valid for 2 years for candidates to use for admission to universities nationwide. Currently, more than 50 universities use the results of the Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment exam for admission.
This is the second year that Hanoi University of Science and Technology has organized the thinking assessment exam in Hai Duong, creating convenience for candidates in the province not to have to go to other provinces to take the exam, saving time and money. Sao Do University is the only location in Hai Duong that Hanoi University of Science and Technology has set up to organize this exam.
