Ring Road 5 - Hanoi Capital Region has 52.7 km passing through Hai Duong

The route passes through 8 provinces and cities: Hai Duong (52.7km), Hanoi (48km), Hoa Binh (35.4km), Ha Nam (35.3km), Thai Binh (28.5km), Bac Giang (51.3km), Thai Nguyen (28.9km) and Vinh Phuc (51.5km).

Accordingly, the longest beltway 5 passing through Hai Duong is about 52.7 km, passing through Hai Duong city, Chi Linh city and the districts of Ninh Giang, Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Thanh Ha and Nam Sach.

Specifically, according to the planning at the location of crossing the Luoc River, the basic route coincides with the North-South economic development axis to DT.392 road, parallel to National Highway 38B, intersecting with the Hanoi - Hai Phong expressway at Ngoc Ky commune, Tu Ky district (east of Hung Dao industrial park). The route avoids Hai Duong city to the East and coincides with the planned beltway 2 of Hai Duong city, at the end of the beltway 2, the route goes north to intersect with National Highway 5 at the west of Lai Vu bridge, parallel to National Highway 37 to the East and merges with the Noi Bai - Ha Long expressway (planned) section Con Son - Kiep Bac about 11.8 km to the intersection of National Highway 37 and continues north parallel to National Highway 37 to the west to Bac Giang province.

According to the plan, Beltway 5 - Capital region has a length of about 330 km, a scale of 4-6 expressway lanes, a minimum roadbed width of 22-33m and has service roads on both sides.

The project has a total investment of about 85,000 billion VND, with investment progress before 2030.

In the Plan of the Hanoi People's Committee on implementing the action program of the Hanoi Party Committee to implement Resolution 06 of the Politburo on planning, construction, management and sustainable development of Vietnamese urban areas to 2030, with a vision to 2045 in Hanoi, the goal is to strive to complete Ring Road 4 before 2027, and prepare to invest and build Ring Road 5 before 2030.
