It is expected that in 2025, 3 narrow bridges, Cay, Van Thai, Lai in Cam Giang, Binh Giang districts and Chi Linh city, will be renovated and have their bridge surfaces expanded to overcome and handle potential traffic accidents.
The Department of Transport is taking steps to prepare for investment in projects to handle infrastructure shortcomings and potential traffic accident points at 3 bridges, and is expected to be implemented in 2025.
Lai Bridge at km 1+650, Provincial Road 389B (Chi Linh City) is 18 m long with a bridge width of 4 m, narrower than the current road surface. This bridge was built a long time ago, has a large traffic volume, cars can only travel in one direction, is often congested, and has the potential for traffic accidents. It is expected that Lai Bridge will be expanded to the same width as the road surface with a width of 8 m, and the curbs at the beginning of the bridge will be reinforced.

The traffic volume is large, cars only travel in one direction, often congested, posing a potential danger of traffic accidents. It is expected that Van Thai Bridge will be built to widen the bridge surface to 8 m.
Cay Bridge at km 8+650, on provincial road 394, in Binh Giang and Cam Giang districts, is 90 m long, 4 m wide, and narrower than the road surface. Cay Bridge was built a long time ago, has a large traffic volume, is often congested, and has potential for traffic accidents. It is proposed to increase the clearance of Cay Bridge, strengthen the load-bearing capacity of the bridge, and widen the bridge deck to 8 m.
