Comrade Phan Nhat Thanh was elected Chairman of Ninh Giang District People's Committee.

On the morning of July 7, the People's Council of Ninh Giang district, term XX, 2021-2026, held its 7th session (special session). At the session, the People's Council elected comrade Phan Nhat Thanh, Deputy Secretary of the Ninh Giang District Party Committee, to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Committee with an absolute majority of votes.

Comrade Phan Nhat Thanh, Deputy Director of the Department of Home Affairs, was transferred by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to work at Ninh Giang District Party Committee; appointed to join the District Party Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Ninh Giang District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term from July 1, 2022.

Previously, the District People's Council dismissed comrade Nguyen Dinh Tranh from the position of Chairman of the Ninh Giang District People's Committee for the 20th term 2021-2026.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Tranh has been assigned to work at the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee since July 1, 2022. The Provincial Party Standing Committee introduced Comrade Nguyen Dinh Tranh for the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to consult and elect him to join the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and hold the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2019-2024 term.

Also at the 7th Session, the Ninh Giang District People's Council resolved to adjust the public investment plan for 2022, adding an additional 24 billion VND from the land use rights auction in 2022; adding the Project to Renovate and Upgrade the Road to Vinh Hoa Commune from DH01 Road to National Highway 37 (about 1 km); adjusting the investment policy for the Project to Renovate and Upgrade the old Van Giang Commune Road through Ba Ke Bridge to Van Hoi connecting with Provincial Road 396 in each phase with a total investment of more than 37.5 billion VND; deciding to support more than 2.9 billion VND in housing construction and repair costs for 67 households with meritorious services to the revolution (36 households building new houses, 31 households repairing houses).
