Hai Duong Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang attended the National Great Unity Day in Dien Nhi village.

Attending and sharing the joy with the cadres, party members and people of Dien Nhi village were comrades: Tran Duc Thang, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Thi Ngoc Bich, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of a number of departments, branches and sectors of the province.

Speaking at the festival, Provincial Party Secretary Tran Duc Thang emphasized that after 20 years of organization, the National Great Unity Day has truly become a cultural feature in life, a great festival of solidarity and community cohesion.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang commended and acknowledged the achievements of Dien Nhi village in socio-economic development. He was impressed when over 97% of the families in the village achieved the title of cultural family, and the material and spiritual life of the people was constantly improved. With all 7 clans and some organizations in the village establishing a fund to encourage learning and talent, it proved that the people in the village were very interested in developing education and human development. He also emphasized that the people in the village contributed nearly 300 million VND to build welfare works to serve the cultural and spiritual life, showing that when policies are unanimously supported by the people, they will all be successful.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that in the coming time, the Toan Thang Commune Fatherland Front Committee and the Village Front Working Committee will proactively advise and better utilize the leadership of Party committees and authorities, the coordination of sectors and organizations in organizing and implementing campaigns and patriotic emulation movements in the area; promote the people's mastery, well implement democracy at the grassroots level; effectively supervise community investment and self-management activities in residential communities; actively participate in Party building and building a clean and strong government.

Encourage people of all walks of life to comply with the policies, laws of the Party and State, local regulations, village conventions; unite and help each other develop production, expand industries, develop the economy, prevent social evils... to constantly improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of the people.

Each individual and each family in the commune needs to continue to better implement the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" with specific, practical actions suitable to the actual conditions of the commune, contributing to making Dien Nhi a model village in all aspects, a leading village of Toan Thang commune in building new rural areas.

The Provincial Party Secretary also requested the leaders of Toan Thang commune, Gia Loc district and the province's functional agencies to pay more attention to performing their tasks better to support and help the people of Dien Nhi village in particular and the entire people of Hai Duong province to become increasingly prosperous and happy.

On this occasion, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Duc Thang, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, presented 10 gifts (total value of 10 million VND) to poor households in Dien Nhi village.

At the festival, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded a certificate of merit to the Dien Nhi Village Front Working Committee for its outstanding achievements in implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; awarded family certificates of "Exemplary grandparents and parents, loyal children and filial grandchildren" to 6 families...

Dien Nhi village has 395 households, with 1,675 people. In recent years, the villagers have been enthusiastically working and producing, competing to get rich legitimately; regularly helping each other build their families and hometowns. Currently, 100% of the families in the village have solid, high-rise houses; the rate of well-off and rich households accounts for 83.7%, only 0.8% of poor households; 97.8% of families have achieved the title of cultural family...
