Couple of friends organized drug use in rented room

The Investigation Police Agency of Cam Giang District Police has just decided to prosecute the defendants Luong Van Tho (born in 1998) and Tong Van Truong (born in 1996, both with permanent residence in Liep Te commune, Thuan Chau district, Son La) for the crime of organizing illegal use of drugs.

Tho and Truong are social friends, both drug users, currently renting a room in Cam Giang district. On the afternoon of January 7, Truong went to Tho's room in Lai Cach town to play. On the evening of January 8, due to the need to use drugs, Tho and Truong each contributed 100,000 VND to buy heroin for use. At around 8 p.m. the same day, Tho and Truong hired a motorbike taxi to Luong Tai district (Bac Ninh) to buy heroin. On the way back, Tho bought 2 sets of syringes. At Tho's room, Truong opened the package of drugs, divided it, and mixed it into 2 sets of syringes to use together by injecting them into their own arms. While they were using drugs, they were caught red-handed by Lai Cach town police, who confiscated the evidence.

Truong has a criminal record for illegal possession of drugs.

After consolidating the case file, Lai Cach Town Police handed over the case to the Investigation Police Agency of Cam Giang District Police to handle according to their authority.
