Students who want to apply for grade 6 at Hanoi - Amsterdam High School must have a primary school report card with most subjects scoring 10.

To pass round 1 (application review), students applying for grade 6 of Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted must have a total score of at least 167 points on the final exam at primary school. There are 17 required scores to calculate, the absolute score is 170 points.

These scores include math, Vietnamese (in grades 1 and 2), math, Vietnamese, English (in grades 3), math, Vietnamese, science, history and geography, English (in grades 4 and 5).

So to reach the minimum, most of the above points must reach 10 points.

Students whose academic records do not meet the above level will have their application reported as invalid by the online admission system.

According to the school's announcement, parents can register their children from May 18 to July 27.

No later than June 7, Hanoi-Amsterdam High School for the Gifted will announce the list of students passing the admission round on the school's website.

Students whose names are on the list will take the second round of the competency assessment test, which will include math, Vietnamese, and English in a combination of multiple-choice and essay format.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted enrolls 200 students in grade 6. Candidates must have permanent residence in Hanoi and have completed primary school.
