On December 2, the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor elected the 13th Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor for the 2023-2028 term.
The number of members of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, term XIII, is 177. At the congress, 185 comrades were introduced to elect 168 members, 9 members were vacant and will be filled after the congress when qualified personnel are available.
According to the election results, the General Confederation of Labor and its affiliated units have 37 members, of which 31 members were elected at the congress, with 6 members missing and will be elected after the congress; the Central and equivalent industry trade unions, and the general corporation trade unions under the General Confederation of Labor elected 22 members, with 20 members elected at the congress, with 2 members missing, and will be reorganized after the congress.
Provincial and municipal labor federations elected 65 comrades; grassroots trade unions directly above elected 21; grassroots trade unions, trade unions, and labor support consulting centers elected comrades, with 8 comrades elected at the congress; representatives of state agencies and central socio-political organizations elected 16 comrades; scientists and experts elected 4; workers and laborers directly elected 3 comrades.

On December 3, the Executive Committee of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will present to the congress a report on the results of its first meeting. The Executive Committee of the 13th Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will also be introduced to the congress.
