Hai Duong Provincial Police are verifying and clarifying the case of a car carrying nearly 5 tons of gas of unknown origin in Nam Sach district.
Previously, on July 2, the Working Group of the Economic Police Department (Hai Duong Provincial Police) inspected car 34C-163.17 parked at the gate of An Phat Xanh Plastic Joint Stock Company (Nam Sach town) and discovered a tank of LPG (gas) inside, containing 4,990 kg of liquefied gas.
Driver Nguyen Tuan Huy (born in 1994, in Dong Trieu, Quang Ninh) could not present invoices or documents proving the origin of the gas transported on the vehicle.
Initially, the driver admitted that the goods were purchased from another tanker driver in Hai Phong, and were being transported to sell for profit when they were inspected and discovered. The value of the shipment was over 100 million VND.
