On May 4, Group 3 of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province met with voters of Hai Duong city and Gia Loc district before the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly.
Group 3 of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province meeting voters included comrades: Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province; Nguyen Thi Viet Nga, Provincial Party Committee member, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province; Dinh Thi Ngoc Dung, National Assembly delegate of Hai Duong province.
On the morning of May 4, the delegation met with voters at the People's Committee of Viet Hoa Ward (Hai Duong City). In the afternoon of the same day, at the People's Committee of Toan Thang Commune, the delegates met with voters from several communes of Gia Loc District.
At the meetings, the delay in granting land use right certificates; the slow progress of the DELTA project; and the deterioration of Pho Van Street were issues that many voters in Viet Hoa ward reported. Voters in Gia Loc district reported the traffic jam at the intersection of National Highway 38 and the North-South axis of Hai Duong province and requested that the authorities promptly resolve the issue. Voters in Doan Thuong commune (Gia Loc) reported the pollution of water sources affecting agricultural production and requested that the authorities have a definitive solution...
After listening to the voters' concerns, Comrade Trieu The Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province, accepted and acknowledged the heartfelt opinions of voters of Hai Duong city and Gia Loc district. Regarding Hai Duong city, Comrade Trieu The Hung requested the Chairman of the City People's Committee to arrange a meeting with Viet Hoa ward to resolve and thoroughly respond to voters' recommendations and reflections, and set a deadline for resolution.
Informing voters of the two localities about some highlights of the province's socio-economic development in 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, comrade Trieu The Hung affirmed that the province's socio-economic development picture is a bright picture with many positive results. Regarding social security, the Provincial People's Council approved 15 policies, spending over 2,000 billion VND on social security. Currently, the province continues to review individual cases for early resolution.
Responding to voters’ opinions on pollution, Comrade Trieu The Hung affirmed that the province resolutely does not accept projects that affect the environment and people’s lives. There are projects worth hundreds of millions of USD that have not been approved because when put into production, they could pollute water sources.
Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trieu The Hung said that the province has had many activities to research, connect, promote, and boost international trade and investment. The Hai Duong Provincial People's Committee has also just coordinated to launch the first freight train departing from Cao Xa station to participate in the international transit journey to promote socio-economic development...
Regarding issues related to state policies, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that the delegation will receive and make recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government and central ministries and branches.
Up to now, the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province has completed meeting voters before the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly in 6 districts and cities in the province.
