According to the Provincial Statistics Office, Hai Duong's consumer price index (CPI) in October decreased by 0.59% compared to September, increased by 5.02% over the same period in 2022 and increased by 4.43% compared to the average of the same period last year.
Thus, the CPI in October decreased after many consecutive months of increasing. The reason is that many main commodity groups have decreased in price, affecting the CPI. The price index of the transportation group decreased by 1.74% due to the impact of domestic gasoline price adjustments. In the first 10 months of this year, total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue in Hai Duong is estimated at VND77,510 billion, up 15.2% over the same period last year. Revenue from social consumer services is estimated at VND13,007 billion, up 9%.
