From 3:00 p.m. this afternoon, most petroleum products will increase in price, except for diesel and fuel oil.
According to the adjustment of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, from 3:00 p.m. on March 20, E5RON92 gasoline will have a price no higher than 19,695 VND/liter (an increase of 414 VND/liter), RON95-III gasoline will have a price no higher than 20,087 VND/liter (an increase of 438 VND/liter).
Diesel 0.05S has a price no higher than 17,893 VND/liter (down 5 VND/liter), kerosene has a price no higher than 18,118 VND/liter (up 28 VND/liter), and fuel oil 180CST 3.5S has a price no higher than 16,955 VND/kg (down 40 VND/kg).
Adjusting gasoline and oil prices aims to ensure that domestic price fluctuations are consistent with world oil and gas price fluctuations; continue to maintain the price difference between E5RON92 biofuel and RON95 mineral gasoline at a reasonable level to encourage the use of biofuels according to the Government's policy; and ensure the harmony of interests among market participants.
The world oil market in this period (from March 13 to 19) is affected by major factors such as: US oil reserves decrease, tensions increase again in the Middle East, instability in US tax policy on goods from other countries, the ceasefire order on energy facilities between Russia and Ukraine may soon be established...
The average price of finished petroleum products in the world between the price adjustment period on March 13 and the adjustment period on March 20 was: 79.334 USD/barrel of RON92 gasoline used to blend E5RON92 gasoline (up 2.194 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.84%); 80.754 USD/barrel of RON95 gasoline (up 2.162 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 2.75%); 84.206 USD/barrel of kerosene (up 0.024 USD/barrel, equivalent to an increase of 0.03%); 84.136 USD/barrel of 0.05S diesel oil (down 0.168 USD/barrel, equivalent to a decrease of 0.20%); 462.612 USD/ton of 180CST 3.5S fuel oil (down 2.180 USD/ton, equivalent to a decrease of 0.47%).
