Tesla's 2024 Cybertruck Foundation Series, featuring 24K gold plating worth nearly $60,000, equivalent to about 1.5 billion VND, is being auctioned.

The car is owned by Zack Nelson, a famous YouTuber.

The truck also bears the signatures of several famous reviewers. Nelson estimates the value of the truck at around $200,000, largely due to the gold plating.

But collectors and tuners say upgrades don’t usually add to resale value. Without the flashy plating, this is just another Cybertruck.

The gold-plated Cybertruck is a dual-motor version with 600 horsepower. The vehicle is equipped with 20-inch wheels, an infotainment system with an 18.5-inch screen, and a 4-wheel drive system.

Anyone who buys this car will have to accept a few flaws. There are some scratches and small dents on the passenger side of the car. Also, the passenger side A-pillar panel is loose. Nelson says he will have the panel gold plated for the new owner. The current Cars&Bids auction price has surpassed $91,000.
