The Department of Information Security, Ministry of Information and Communications recommends that people be careful when using unofficial and unknown sources of information.
According to the Department of Information Security, Ministry of Information and Communications, in recent days, a number of information pages, zalo groups and emails have appeared impersonating units of the Ministry of Education and Training to provide information, including posting many images and articles with fraudulent content about property appropriation.
At the same time, the scammers have incorporated advertisements for services such as: "Receiving applications for principals, vice principals, and treasurers"; "Contributing to the welfare fund for children in mountainous areas"... with the commitment to work at units under the Ministry of Education and Training in order to appropriate assets.
Informing the public, the Ministry of Education and Training affirms that currently, the unit only provides official information on the network environment through two channels: the Ministry of Education and Training's Electronic Information Portal at https://moet.gov.vn/Pages/home.aspx and the Ministry of Education and Training's Electronic Information page on the Facebook platform (https://www.facebook.com/thongtinbogiaoducvadaotao).
The Ministry of Education and Training and related units do not coordinate or authorize any unit to guide or receive people's applications for the above programs through social networks.
The Department of Information Security, Ministry of Information and Communications recommends that people should be careful when using unofficial information sources of unknown origin. Absolutely do not follow instructions, do not contact websites or Fanpages with advertising content for services "receiving principal/vice principal/treasurer records"; "Contributing to the welfare fund for children in mountainous areas"... on cyberspace. People absolutely do not transfer money to subjects to be guided, receive, and complete records; do not provide personal information in any form.
When encountering fraud cases like the above, people need to immediately contact the competent authorities and police agencies for timely support.
