According to education experts from AES Education Technology Joint Stock Company, there are three main reasons why the SAT certificate is increasingly popular in Vietnam, which is safety.
As candidates can register for up to 4 test sessions per year and universities will accept test results from the last 2 years. Next is the stability of the SAT, compared to changes in the national high school exam program. The final reason is choice, as more and more universities open admissions methods using this test.
To help candidates prepare and achieve the best SAT results, AES education experts believe that the first thing each candidate needs is diligence. Like any other test, the SAT requires students to invest effort, time, and dedication. Candidates need to clearly define their goals, make a specific plan to achieve the score they want, and try their best during the preparation process.
When reviewing for an exam, candidates should not be impatient. Many candidates have the habit of practicing test questions continuously with the hope of improving their scores. Although this can help candidates get used to the test format and develop a habit of concentration, practicing test-taking skills, adjusting logical thinking or supplementing missing knowledge should have the support of a teacher to achieve the highest efficiency.
In addition, practicing mock tests without control can easily make candidates feel tired, disappointed, and frustrated when they do not achieve their desired score. It can be said that studying by practicing test questions is not really effective for the SAT test.
Candidates who want to succeed in the SAT need to be progressive in their studies. Initially, the test taker's reflex will be to do the test by instinct. However, when there is guidance from the teacher, candidates need to proactively absorb, apply and closely follow these instructions if they find them effective.
In particular, candidates need to actively consult teachers during the test, especially when they have problems. With the characteristic of the test being a test of thinking ability, candidates need to focus on this factor more than the final answer. The teacher's help in adjusting and orienting thinking will help candidates have better results in future tests.
SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a popular standardized test, often used for admission to universities in the US, Europe...
The test consists of three parts: Reading, Language and Mathematics, with a total score of 1,600. Only 1% of candidates worldwide achieve this score.
According to data from the College Board (the SAT testing unit), the number of Vietnamese candidates taking the SAT has increased sharply in recent years. This is related to the fact that more and more universities in Vietnam are using the results of this standardized test in their admissions process.
