AI tools for content creation, coding, AI disease diagnosis, and AI Box that turns regular cameras into smart ones are being demonstrated at Vietnam Artificial Intelligence Festival 2024.
On the morning of August 23, in the exhibition space of the AI4VN 2024 event at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, there were more than 20 booths demonstrating AI applications and solutions developed by domestic and foreign units.
One of the booths that attracted the attention of many attendees was AI Box, a device that turns a regular camera into a smart camera. The unique point of the product lies in its easy connection and ability to handle a variety of recognition tasks. When plugged into the network, the AI Box can search for cameras within the network, thereby becoming a centralized data processing location for the camera. Thanks to AI, the device can recognize and handle about 20 different situations and give warnings to users.
This year’s AI4VN also featured many AI solutions in healthcare, which received attention from experts. For example, Genomate showcased an AI solution for prescribing drugs to treat diseases. VKIST applied artificial intelligence to process ultrasound images, providing predictive images of fetuses.
In the booming era of generative AI, applications related to this technology are also everywhere at AI Expo and AI Workshop space.
CodeVista - Gen AI application uses a similar prompting mechanism to ChatGPT but adds many specialized features to support coding tasks. The application is capable of commenting on code, fixing bugs in the user's programming, indicating why such errors should be fixed and what types of libraries the programmer should use.
AIVA, a generative AI tool developed in the direction of a virtual assistant, also attracted attention both at the AI Workshop stage and the Expo area. During the demonstration, the company representative let Aiva experiment with building ideas and creating live content. The results from the AI product surprised many visitors, receiving much applause from the audience.
Along with AI solutions, many new technologies and solutions are also brought to AI4VN by units in education, virtual reality, and business solutions. The AI Expo space will take place throughout August 23.
On the afternoon of August 23, AI4VN participants will be able to participate in the AI Summit. This event will be attended by government leaders, ministries, large corporations, scientists, communities interested in developing and applying AI domestically and internationally, universities, and businesses. At the forum, the real picture, opportunities and challenges when applying generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) in various fields and the potential of this technology in the future will be recreated.
The AI4VN Festival is directed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, organized by VnExpress Newspaper, FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company (FPT Online) in coordination with the Club of Information and Communication Technology Faculties - Institutes - Schools (FISU), starting from 2018.
After 6 years of organization, AI4VN has become an important national forum, gathering resources to successfully implement the national strategy on research, deployment and application of artificial intelligence in Vietnam for the period 2020-2030.
