The product "Waste sorting robot using AIOT technology" by students of Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted and students of Tu Ky district was awarded first prize by the Organizing Committee of the 18th Hai Duong Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest (2023-2024).

The product "Waste sorting robot using AIOT technology" by students: Nguyen Phuong Anh, grade 10 French major, Nguyen Trai High School for the Gifted; Ta Duc Hien, grade 6B Phan Boi Chau Secondary School; Nguyen Minh Tien and Nguyen Sang Bao Chau, grade 3C Dai Dong Primary School (Tu Ky) is a combination of AI artificial intelligence technology with the internet of things (IOT) infrastructure to create an advanced, automated, and convenient solution for waste management.

The product uses artificial intelligence technology to automatically classify waste through voice and image recognition software, thereby reducing dependence on manual classification and increasing waste management efficiency. The product performs requests from users through the use of AI virtual assistant software. The robot can introduce itself, give compliments and give cards to those who actively dispose of waste properly.

The product "ESSDAD - Smart device to assist safe driving" by two students Pham Hung and Nguyen Duc Minh at Nguyen Du High School (Hai Duong City) won second prize in the contest.

When the correct type of waste is identified, the robot will automatically open the lid of the corresponding trash bin and invite the user to put the waste in the bin. In case the user brings in multiple types of mixed waste at the same time, the robot will request waste classification.

The product is connected to the garbage collector's phone number. When the trash can is full, the robot will notify the user and send a signal to the garbage collection manager.

The product was awarded first prize by the Organizing Committee of the 18th Hai Duong Province Youth and Children's Creativity Contest and was assessed to have the ability to be widely applied in practice.

This year, the Organizing Committee received 126 models and products to participate in the contest, an increase of 9 models and products compared to last year. Kim Thanh district has 33 products and models participating, the most in the province, followed by Tu Ky, Gia Loc, Thanh Ha districts...

The organizing committee has selected 36 typical products and models to award prizes.
