According to Carscoops, the Lexus LS was the first model to mark the presence of the luxury car brand in the UK market in 1990. After more than 3 decades, the Lexus LS has quietly disappeared from the Lexus product catalog in the UK, mainly due to declining sales.

After the LS is discontinued, the Lexus ES will be the Japanese luxury brand's only sedan in the UK. The remaining product range will mainly consist of SUVs and crossovers, with models such as the LBX, UX, NX, RZ and RX, alongside the Lexus LM MPV.

According to Autocar, Lexus will only sell 3 LS cars to UK customers in 2024. Since 2020, cumulative sales of the Lexus LS in the UK have reached 39 cars, making this large sedan the slowest-selling car model of the luxury car brand of the Toyota group.

In addition to falling sales, Lexus said legal challenges and vehicle approvals were among the reasons for the LS’s withdrawal from the UK lineup. Interest in the Lexus LM MPV from its target customer group also significantly reduced demand for the LS sedan.

All Lexus LS options in the UK are the LS 500h model equipped with a self-charging hybrid system, combining a 3.5L V6 engine with 2 electric motors, with 4-wheel drive.

According to Carscoops, Lexus still sells the LS in Japan, North America and some European markets. Vietnam is also one of the markets where the Lexus LS is still available, currently with 2 versions priced at 7.68 billion and8.39 billion VND.
