Japanese luxury car brand Lexus will be sold in the US market from early 2025. This is an upgraded version of the GX SUV model.
In the new version, GX slightly increases the selling price, adds more standard equipment, and the off-road version has higher chassis.
The 2025 GX price increases from $64,300 to $65,300 for the base model, while the top-of-the-line model only increases from $81,250 to $81,750.
In the 2025 version, Lexus added equipment to the standard GX version with an electric steering wheel and memory for the driver's seat, steering wheel, and outside rearview mirror. A small upgrade because this feature is already available on higher versions such as Premium and Overtrail.
In addition, the Japanese automaker also added an off-road accessory package and an option to raise the suspension by 25 mm for the Overtrail versions, increasing ground clearance to 249 mm and increasing the approach angle, departure angle, and ramp-over angle to 26, 22, and 24 degrees, respectively.
All 2025 GX versions use a 3.4 V6 twin-turbo engine, 349 horsepower, maximum torque of 649 Nm. 10-speed automatic transmission combined with full-time four-wheel drive with a center differential lock. The new GX can accelerate from 0-96 km/h in 6.5 seconds before reaching a maximum speed of 175 km/h.
In addition to the powerful engine, the 2025 GX also has heated/ventilated front seats, NuLuxe fabric seats. Behind the steering wheel is a 12.3-inch digital dashboard and a 14-inch entertainment touchscreen. 10-speaker sound system, sunroof.
Higher versions add leather seats and massage function. Third row seats fold electrically, heated leather steering wheel, 21-speaker Mark Levinson sound system.
